You should never pay more than $20 for 1400 points with Xbox Live go to futureshop, best buy or HMV to get the same points card without shipping for $20. i can't believe amazon is charging $30, and then shipping! even $20 plus shipping is crazy. don't buy this here unless they drop the price

Canada price for Xbox Points: 1400 points for $19.99 CAD USA price for Xbox Points: 1600 points for $19.99 USD
Currently, 1 CAD= almost $0.97USD
And forget about getting your cards from the US, they've fixed it so Canadians can use US cards.

It's pretty straightforward what this is used for. If you DO NOT have a credit card, then this is the only way to purchase Marketplace points for XBOX Live. So if you are giving a gift to a child or teenager (the majority of gamers on this type of system), then this is an excellent purchase.
If you have a Credit Card, then you can purchase these points directly through the XBOX service.

Seriously, the former poster has no idea what he or she is talking about. Exclusive content comes out for Xbox Live over Marketplace that requires points to be purchased and downloaded to your Xbox 360. Buy it if you know of something you could use. If you don't want to be able to play the various expansions, don't buy this. Simple as that.
