Perfect in every way ~ small compact and easy to use. Takes great videos (for this calibre of product). There are many other choices in this market, but this does the trick.

The kodak Zi8 is perfect. It's small, it takes good images and the sound is fine. You can also use a microphone thanks to the mic jak!!

Great camera. It was exactly what I was looking for.
I would recommend a small flexible tripod, extra battery or 2 and at least a 16 gig card.

When I purchased this palm sized camcorder I didn't know what to expect. I am technologically challenged at the best of times but not in this case. I found the instructions easy to understand and the camera was equally as easy to operate. I love my camcorder and I take it with me wherever I go. Mexico here I come!
Great little HD camcorder January 24, 2010

I originally bought a Sony CX-100 and thought the video quality was great outdoors and grainy in low to medium light. The colors were also not very accurate. Based on the reviews of this product, I returned the Sony and bought this.
I'm very happy with this product. I believe that the overall quality is better with this camcorder than the Sony at 3 times the price. The colors are very accurate, video quality outdoors is great, and quality indoors is very good with plenty of light. In low to medium light it gets a little grainy, but unless you are spending $1,000+ you can't expect much with HD camcorders.
I use 2 hands to take my videos and find that my videos are quite steady.
I love the convenience of slipping this into a jacket pocket so you can take it with you everywhere.
