Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
Refresh, revive, and recharge hair and scalp without water. Pronto is perfect for use between washings, in a rush, as a midday hair pick-me-up, or when you overdose on styling product.Natural rice, oat, and tapioca starches cleanse hair by absorbing excess oil, product, and grease and increase hair volume at the roots without weighing hair down. Triclosan and tea tree oil help treat the scalp and reduce the occurrence of dandruff, while the invigorating lemon verbena fragrance leaves hair smelling and feeling fresh.

1 out of 5 stars Four bottles of this crappy product purchased- all broken.   August 31, 2008
Gregory J. Taieb (Los Angeles)
First of all, the product is not really that great for your hair. All it really does is dry your hair out a little bit through the use of chemicals. It doesn't actually clean your hair.

The appalling part is the packaging. I've used this shampoo twice over the course of two weeks, and my bottle is either broken or empty. I wasn't planning on using it ever again, but my girlfriend grabbed my bottle after hers failed to work as well. Both of us used our bottles twice, and now they feel as if most of the product evaporated out of the bottle. I tried running it under hot water, etc, and it just flat out doesn't work. Then my girlfriend told me: "Ugh. I hate that these bottles always break." I asked her how many she's gone through and she told me this was her fourth, and they've always broken after about a week or two of being opened.

I told her that maybe she should find another dry shampoo.

5 out of 5 stars Nice stuff; better than most   July 9, 2008

I ordered Blandi and the Klorane dry shampoo spray to help preserve the color in my hair. I prefer the Blandi much more than the Klorane (and far more than Pssst). Blandi does a more thorough cleaning job, smells better (pleasantly lemony), is gentler on my scalp, makes my (wavy) hair fluffy, and keeps my hair cleaner for a much longer time.

Blandi is a super-fine rice powder product that you apply close to the roots, rub around then brush out. So, regardless of how much you brush, you are going to have some small powdery residue, but its perceivable only by you. And I kind of find that the slight residue continues to absorb oil through the day, allowing you to brush & clean more later.

Nothing beats a bona fide wet shampoo, but to make color last, to save time, and to avoid the dreaded oily hair smell and look, this stuff fits the bill very nicely. There's enough product in the bottle to last a few weeks of consistent use, too.

I love this product. The lemon smell goes away very quickly but it doesnt smell bad anyway. I could probably go 2 days without washing my hair (but I wont).Anyway I love it but I wish the price would come down a bit. P.S. I still love old faithful PSSSST too.

1 out of 5 stars Gross!   June 4, 2008

I just had to jump in the shower to wash the dry shampoo out, which more or less negates its purpose. I have dark red hair, and it made me look as though I was going grey at the roots. Even though I used a very small amount, no amount of brushing improved the look. Plus, it smells like flea dip! Gross.

2 out of 5 stars Just a powder.   May 31, 2008
Picky buyer (Encino, CA)
I have dry hair and my roots get a bit oily too soon to wash my hair again, so I love dry shampoo, but this one works no better than a baby powder and the citrus fragrance is just too strong. I feel self-conscious when using it outside or at work.
